Sprouting Chefs Society is a registered BC charity non profit that has been overseeing the development of a school garden program at Forest Grove Elementary since 2011 as the first edible school garden built in Burnaby School District. The program is now the model for several schools and includes an After School Garden Club, After School Cooking Classes, Community Lunch Events and a Seed to Table Program that includes an outdoor Labyrinth for social emotional learning and as a mindfulness tool. Sprouting Chefs hosts Wellness and Cooking Camps in the summer in Vancouver, North Vancouver and Burnaby. We have served community workshops and several of our services throughout the lower mainland.
