I am in my 2nd year of a MA in Human (Health) Geography and I am interested in all things food! From nutrition and the biological processes of digestion, to environmental outcomes of food production systems, food psychology, and socioeconomic determinate of diet quality. My research specifically focuses on how the organization of the built environment may influence diet quality, perceptions of food, food behaviour, and ultimately, health outcomes . This work has been complimentary to my background in biomedical biology (Hons. BSc.), giving me a unique understanding both the biological and the socio-environmental determinants of health. Next, I am hoping to pursue a PhD looking at how to improve planetary health by repair the relationships that humans have with their food, the land, each other, and ourselves.
