Theme: Buying into Local: institutional food procurement strategies
This panel discussion will feature three renowned chefs who will explore the role of chefs as educators, sources of inspiration for youth, and the ways chefs are transforming food systems in public institutions and engaging students and whole communities in the process. Participants will leave with a better understanding of how chefs are engaging in F2S initiatives, the benefits of bringing chefs to the table, and how to tap into the network of chefs across the country.
