Theme - Making Connections: farmers, fishers, food hubs, and supply chains
In schools and childcare centers across the country, fundraising initiatives are increasing local vegetable and fruit consumption through the sale of local and sustainable produce. These initiatives are allowing institutions to raise funds while supporting the local economy and local farmers, and raising the awareness of children and youth about the benefits of healthy, local and sustainable food.

Dans des écoles et des centres de la petite enfance partout au pays, des activités de financement permettent d’accroître la consommation de fruits et de légumes par la vente de produits locaux et durables. Ces initiatives permettent aux établissements de recueillir des fonds tout en appuyant l’économie locale et les agriculteurs locaux et en conscientisant les enfants et les jeunes aux bienfaits d’une alimentation saine, locale et durable.
