Theme - Fostering Food Literacy
Food literacy, growing, and cooking can easily be brought into the classroom through the curriculum, though sometimes it can be a challenge to know where to begin. Located in the conference pavilion area, the session’s presenters will engage participants in hands-on aspects of their diverse classroom and garden-based activities, while sharing best practices and important lessons learned from their individual programs. Those in attendance will leave with helpful tips, tools, and access to new resources.
